Setting up the 3CX Mobile App for Synfone

The mobile app can be used to take and make calls using your business phone number.
To get started:
  • Install the 3CX app for iOS or Android.
  • Log into your Web Client and click on the QR code in the top right corner.
    • If you need assistance logging into your web client, see this article.
  • Open the 3CX app, accept the necessary permissions and follow the on-screen prompts.
  • When prompted to scan the QR code, hold your phone's camera up near the QR code.
  • Once scanned, you should see "Ready for Call" near the top of your app.
  • You're all set!
Using the mobile app:
  1. Touch the colored square in the top-right corner of the app screen to change your status.
    1. Available (default) | In the Available status, calls will ring to your desk phone if you have one. If you do not have a desk phone, calls will ring to your mobile app.
    2. Mobile | In the Mobile status, calls will ring to both your desk phone (if you have one) and the mobile app.
    3. Do Not Disturb | In the Do Not Disturb status, calls will be directed to your voicemail.
    4. NOTE: These settings are constant with most client setups. However, customizations can be made on request.
